The demand for affordable Point of Sale (POS) systems among Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has led to the popularity of unauthorized distribution platforms such as "Kuyhaa." This paper analyzes the phenomenon of "Aplikasi Kasir Kuyhaa" (Kuyhaa Cashier Application). While the platform offers premium software for free by cracking licensing mechanisms, this study finds that the apparent economic benefits are overshadowed by severe security vulnerabilities, lack of legal warranty, and operational instability. The paper concludes that the use of such pirated software poses a significant long-term risk to business data integrity.
