The movement encourages dancers, choreographers, and event organizers to prioritize respect, consent, and professionalism in their work. This includes promoting safe and inclusive dance spaces, fostering constructive feedback and criticism, and discouraging behavior that objectifies or harasses dancers.

Unfortunately, the Mambo community has not been immune to issues of harassment, objectification, and discomfort. Dancers, particularly women, have reported feeling uncomfortable, objectified, or even threatened by unwanted attention or behavior on the dance floor.
