This is the most common method. Users convert the PlayStation 2 version of RE4 into a format that the PSP’s built-in emulator (called PS2FPSP or remote play-like tools) can interpret. However, this method is buggy.

Many "Resident Evil 4 PSP ISO" files found online are actually or ports. These typically fall into two categories:
