Shrek is a computer-animated comedy film that tells the story of an ogre named Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers), who lives in isolation in a swamp. His swamp is invaded by a group of fairy tale creatures, banished from their homes by the tyrannical Lord Farquaad (voiced by John Lithgow). Shrek makes a deal with Farquaad to rescue a princess from a dragon-guarded tower in exchange for the return of his swamp.
