The story follows Rajan Zachariah, who requests a transfer to Kalipuram, a town on the Kerala-Karnataka border. His goal is to investigate the mysterious deaths of his superior’s son, Arjun, and Arjun's fiancée. His investigation pits him against a powerful local politician, Parameshwaran Nambiar (Sampath Raj), and Kamala (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar), who manages a local brothel.
